§Pricing

What Premium unlocks.

Most of Loopwheel is free, and stays free. The synthesis layer — the parts where editorial judgment compounds the data — is what Premium gets you.

// Free, always

  • Every brand profile and every product page — verdict, fingerprint, photos, score, where to buy.
  • The full glossary, atlas, journal, and the directory itself.
  • Save / Owned / Returned tracking on your own profile.
  • Computed signals: wash difficulty, versatility index, percentile rank, within-brand price tier, signal coverage. The arithmetic that any reader can recompute from the inputs we publish.

// Premium

The fields a free reader sees blurred behind a tooltip. Each one is editorial work that doesn’t fall out of the brand’s own marketing copy.

  • Construction reads. Fabric detail and construction notes — the parts of how a thing is made that the brand undersells or doesn't mention.
  • Predictive synthesis. Predicted lifespan with a year range, climate range in °F and °C, break-in profile, breathability score. Synthesized from material weight + brand make-quality + construction signals.
  • Value framing. Cost per wear, value verdict, discount likelihood, best time to buy — the questions that decide whether a thing is actually worth the price.
  • Sale calendar + sustainability reads. Per-brand sale cadence and predicted next-sale dates. Honest sustainability assessments that go past the brand's own copy.
  • Use predictions. Versatility, layering, and travel-friendly scores — judgment about how a piece works inside a real wardrobe, not just on its own.

// When

Subscriptions aren’t live yet. The directory is still being built — Premium opens once the corpus is deep enough that what you’re paying for is unmistakably worth more than the free layer.

Pricing will be in the $5–10/month range or annual at a small discount. No tiers within Premium. No upgrade-to-platinum ladder.

If you’d rather hear when it goes live than check back, subscribe to the journal — the launch note will go out there first.
