§ 01The Story

Flint & Tinder launched in 2012 when Jake Bronstein — former MTV personality turned toy inventor — set out to make premium men's underwear entirely in the USA. A pair of successful Kickstarter campaigns, including the famous 10-Year Hoodie that broke the million-dollar mark and entered the Guinness Book of World Records, turned a niche experiment into a full menswear brand. Huckberry acquired Flint & Tinder in 2016 and now serves as its exclusive retail home, keeping the Made-in-America mandate intact across tees, denim, outerwear, and accessories. The brand's throughline is simple: domestic sourcing, durable construction, and no-frills design that improves with age. Every piece uses US-grown cotton or other domestically sourced materials, with cutting and sewing handled in Los Angeles. The ethos skews workwear-adjacent — classic silhouettes, garment-dyed finishes, and enough heft to earn the "buy it for life" label that fans routinely apply to the line.
